Becky Hunsinger, RN, CMT, ABMP member
Indiana Therapeutic Massage School / IUPUI
Becky Hunsinger has been a practicing Massage Therapist since 2007 and nurse since 1996.
Taking time for oneself may seem selfish, but she believes getting a massage is essential to emotional and physical health. It takes wisdom to take care of your body before it becomes run down or exhausted. Everyone needs a massage, in her opinion.
She enjoys reminding clients what it feels like to be relaxed or virtually pain free.
Becky grew up in Putnam County, went to college, moved out of the country to Malaysia, and eventually landed on the west coast in Seattle. It was while in Seattle where she first felt the desire to become a massage therapist. She is married with two children; one out of college and the other still in school. She comes from a large family and enjoys getting together with them as often as she can.
Becky enjoys reading, hiking, biking, swimming, yoga, and walking. She is an avid triathlete competing in multiple events each year and organizes a yearly triathlon fundraiser for the Greencastle Youth Softball Association.
Becky is well known in the Greencastle Community for her volunteer work serving on multiple community boards including Friends of the Park, People's Pathway, and the Greencastle Youth Softball Association.
Self awareness is one goal when giving a massage. Her joy comes from helping others. Becky loves working with different problems and conditions.
Her basic goal is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being.
